For 2013 this exhibit covers three local settlements near Arcadia. As the research is completed additional settlements will be covered.

This display case contains information and artifacts about Pierport, Burnham, and Malcolm. The ledgers on the left are from the sawmill in Burnham and were used to track lumber and shipments from Burnham's pier in Lake Michigan. The Ledgers in the middle identify ships that docked at Burnham and their cargos. The section on the right summarizes Malcolm, a key stop along the Arcadia and Betsey River Railway. This exhibit also includes photos of local schools, a hangout called the Jungle Inn, receipts for goods transported, and other artifacts. (4 images, 5 second delay)
