The Matteson Store

Built by Charles Matteson, this store (right foreground in photo) was identical in style to several other buildings along Lake Street. It was one of several general merchandise stores in the village. this store has had a number of different owners throughout the years. the second story served as a Masonic Hall after the Ebert Store was demolished.
